I find that sparkly cards during the holiday season are the best choice – always. Therefore I have created a set of six card with the same basic idea today, just modifying the technique from one set to another just a little bit. This is such an adorable card that features the Lion die set from our Safari Release back in January. See how she created this card here on her blog.

Merry Christmas

It really made the flowers look more lively.

While I was at it, I did a blue-red-white-silver-toned card too. It´s all the same steps, just different glitter tones. For the first card I used the Classic Christmas Special Kit and started with the background die. I applied Sea Glass and Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to the background and then moved on to the creating the baubles. The birdhouse and the bucket are created using Floral Foliage 1. Adhere the card panel to your slimline card base and your card is completed. Here is the look of the card if viewed from the top. The sentiment Best Wishes comes from the Everyday Words 2 Die set and the label is cut using Layered Labels 1. The tiny mini filler flowers are from Floral Greenery 1. It’s a slimline card that I created using a Stitched Indented Rectangle Die set.

As usual, all the floral and foliage inking is done using Archival inks. Explore projects from our design team on theElizabeth Craft Designs Blog. I don´t know about you, but I just love playing with this Classic Christmas Special Kit so much! See you again next month with another card tutorial.

I made two of these cards, one for each wedding. The background paper is from the Rustic Winter Collection – so pretty! I created a Layered Bird from the Everyday Elements collection from Annette. He is layered on diecuts from the Postage Stamps set and the word “love” is from Everyday Words. The shape of the card was created by adding a punched corner rounder.

All the supplies used from Elizabeth Craft Designs are directly linked to the website for easy shopping. I hope you got some ideas to make cute Christmas cards. And as you can see at the picture a little bit above you can also use some pieces of this whole card. Karen recently created this for a challenge and we are loving the different textures!

For my last set of three cards I used the same basic idea, but on a smaller piece of paper only creating one bauble per card. I changed the glitter tones on each card to create variation and die cut the bauble with the Dotted Scalloped Circle die. These are more clean and simple in style and much faster to finish, so they are easy to do in series. The sentiment is directly stamped onto the card base with black ink. I hope I could inspire you to give this idea a try and create a few clean and simple Christmas cards yourself. You can also divede the stept into several days.

See the supply list and more pictures of this adorable this birthday card here. The foliage from Floral 24 when cut in gold mirror cardstock added a real festive touch. The green foliage from the Pine Cones die set also enhanced the overall look of the floral bouquet. I’m busy with the Christmas cards and projects.
